Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial musician and singer who blends Soul gospel Jazz and R&B to create a unique mix. She's performed on Broadway as well as during the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine Her real name was Denise White. Though she lives in Atlanta but she is in Chester Pennsylvania where she began music by performing as well as playing the piano at churches. She attended Spellman College and began to learn the R&B styles of Atlanta. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 to serve as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls, the theatre production at Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was noticed by all of the country during 4 performances a day during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be requested to sing with the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
