Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to some Malayalam films. She received an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 in the role of actress Savitri, who appeared in the Telugu film Mahanati. Additionally, she was awarded a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her first career was a children's actress. Later, after studying Fashion Design, she re-entered acting. Her debut lead part in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in the year 2015, and began to accept projects outside of Malayalam. Even though the film was not a success at the box-office the film she made her debut in came from A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played alongside Vikramprabhu. To accommodate bigger projects, she had to cancel projects she'd already begun working on. This comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She then worked in Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Also, Dhanush and she played leading roles for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. However, the film is being delayed from 2015 with the possibility of release in September, 2020 with a brand new title Janakitho Nenu. The film's debut is Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa opposite Vijay, directed by Bharathan.
