Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best well-known for her roles in the Freeform the fantasy show Shadowhunters, and Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' te enamores. Model and dancer by profession Toubia has also had great success in both of these fields. Born in Montreal, she's lived in Texas since childhood, and always loved doing shows. In her early years she began to learn different forms of dancing. In her teens, she took part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous when, in 2008 she was an contestant on Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty pageant. She was in 2010 as the receptionist for Telemundo telenovela Aurora. In 2015 she starred in her debut movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
